  PJSC Machine-Building Factory of Podolsk has started supplying equipment for two dry fan cooling towers to Udarnaya TPP.

Within the framework of the contract for manufacture of two dry fan cooling towers for auxiliary equipment cooling at Udarnaya TPP, PJSC ZiO began shipping the first batch of equipment: auxiliary pipelines and support-suspension system for drain tanks piping, a set of water-air heat exchangers for the cooling tower and beams for lifting of water-air heat exchangers.

A total of 390 tons of heat exchange sections and other elements of dry fan cooling towers were delivered to the erection site in October.

Until recently, equipment for dry fan cooling towers was supplied to power plants in Russia exclusively by foreign companies. This project was carried out according to the design documentation of ZiO and is manufactured at Russian enterprises.

ZiO's proprietary dry fan cooling towers have become the first full-fledged example of import substitution in Russia and are successfully operating at power plants in southern Russia.
